Pandora Proofing project

Well, I love my plants and my other 2 dogs are very well trained to stay away from my plants, but for little Pandora, things are a bit more difficult.  I had to find ingenious ways to keep her from chewing on 5 year old wysteria stems and stomping in my plants without putting up rabbitwire everywhere.  Here are a few of my solutions:

The precious angel likes to jump through my lilac bushes, making big gaps between them.  She also knocks some of the stems off. I put up this lattace and am training her to avoid it.  I also made the gate you see to keep all of the dogs from running back and forth with a dog that lives on the other side of the fence.  They love running back and forth through the bushes.  It gets muddy in the winter and no grass grows in the summer, and the bushes get gaps in them.

Since I have 2 side yards, I put up ANOTHER gate to keep her out of the other side yard.  This is also to keep her out of my pumpkin area.  I think i'll plant pumpkins here.  Also note the lattace work.  The one going up the trellace was to protect a Japanese wysteria she almost chewed in half earlier this winter.  I think the lattace solution is a lot better than the rabbitwire.

This is another shot of my gate.  You can see a sampling of the gravel of my french drain.  You can see how muddy this place can get in winter.  This actually isnt bad at all.  This all used to constantly flood with water and the dogs made it worse by mudding it up.  Now I get grass and a bit of dampness.  Water is in my Neighbours yard now :)

This is my sacred plot, where I grow my garden.  It used to have only 2 small rails on it to which my 2 dogs would avoid.  With Pandora, however, she was able to go through the fence railing, go under them and jump over them.  I had to erect this:  The new parts are in cedar colour.  I also added 2 more sprinklers.
