This is my first SONG PROJECT on the Motif ES8.  IT needs mixed better and a few tempo changes.  Its called the 'Lazy Song'. Yah, I wrote it.  Tell me what ya think (cyrixlord@ambassor.com)

Korg PXR4 portable digital recorder (Cool gadget, even runs on batteries, I use it to get my samples)

Korg OSR-5 synth module (Cute little bugger, awesome strings... Well, until the Motif ES8 came around )

Acid Pro and Sound Forge (Software is ok, but HATE the company.... <rant> The company wont leave the the hell alone.  You can't cancel the register now dialog box on start up (they use it so they can spam the hell out of you when you DO register so its a 'do you want us to spam the hell out of you' dialog box) that is very annoying.  ALSO they put ALL the features of their $50000 version even though you bought the $100.00 version.  You can see them all on the menu items.  If you select one of the features, however, you are then SPAMMED.  For instance, if you select 'file-> UberEQFeature' you get a nice popup saying 'Dont you wish YOU had UberEQFeature? here, you can go to the website and BUY it for $500.00!!!'  You can't remove the UberEQFeature from the menu items either so you have to end up guessing what features your $100.00 version came with and try not to hit the land mines.

ALSO

Acid Pro thinks Mp2 is a video format instead of the output simple stereo format so they want you to buy ANOTHER $500.00 plugin to that.  ITS NOT VIDEO. My KORG PXR4 outputs in mp2 format.  The company's other annoying product, Sonic or siren or whatever it's called gets it right. 

I have to Use Siren to convert mp2 to mp3 because acid pro is too stupid to recognize the data format, then I have to use sound forge to modify the sound while avoiding the 'buy me' and 'register (spam now)' landmines.  I swear the company is as annoying as REALPLAYER.  After all that fun, I appear to be able to use their software moderately.  I'll probably just end up bending over for Cubase.  At least they use lube from what I hear. </rant>)
